A New Chapter for Useberry: Introducing Interviews

A New Chapter for Useberry: Introducing Interviews

The cover has a handwritten +moderated element over Useberry to highlight the fact that Useberry now supports both unmoderated and moderated research with the introduction of interviews.

Useberry is entering the moderated research space with Interviews, our new live research experience. See why this launch marks a new chapter for Useberry and a bigger step toward a more complete research platform.

Today, we are excited to introduce Interviews, Useberry’s new moderated research experience. With this launch, Useberry officially enters the live research space, giving teams a way to schedule interviews, talk to users directly, and keep every finding connected to the study it came from.

This is an important step in our bigger vision for Useberry: building a more complete research platform where teams can test, listen, learn, and make better decisions from one connected place.

For years, Useberry has been known as a remote unmoderated testing platform. That is still a huge part of who we are, and it is still one of the most powerful ways for teams to understand real user behavior without slowing down their workflow.

From seeing behavior to asking why

Unmoderated testing has helped teams collect user feedback quickly and at scale. Participants can complete tasks on their own time, in their own environment, while teams review clicks, recordings, task results, and feedback without needing to schedule every session live. That kind of research is incredibly valuable, and it will continue to sit at the center of Useberry.

Moderated research adds something different to the process: a live conversation. Teams can guide the session, ask questions in the moment, explore expectations as they appear, and understand a customer’s needs, objections, language, priorities, or decision-making process in their own words.

With Interviews, teams can run live customer conversations inside the same research workflow they already use. They can manage scheduling, connect familiar calendar and video tools, capture recordings and transcripts, organize notes and tags, create highlights, and turn key moments into highlight reels stakeholders can actually watch and understand.

In other words, we want moderated research to feel less scattered. Fewer disconnected tools. Fewer lost recordings. Fewer notes floating around in places nobody remembers. More useful customer context, connected directly to your research.

A quote from our CEO and Co-founder Bill Kirimkiridis to emphasize the importance of the product update and the introduction of interviews to Useberry.

A bigger Useberry to cover more research questions

This launch is exciting because it opens Useberry to more research moments and more teams.

For UX and product teams, Interviews can support moderated usability sessions, concept exploration, product discovery, and deeper conversations around user needs. For marketers, it creates a direct way to test messaging, campaign direction, landing page narratives, and customer language. For market researchers, it supports in-depth conversations around buying criteria, category expectations, preferences, and how people talk about a product, service, or market. It always gives researches agency to follow up after usability tests and get context and better understanding.

That is a big step for us.

Useberry started with a clear mission: make user testing easier, faster, and more useful for teams. That mission has not changed. But the platform around it keeps expanding, shaped by the way our customers work and the problems they ask us to help solve.

Over the past few years, we have updated our platform, expanded our recordings feature for even more capabilities, built stronger recruitment workflows, better analysis tools, and a lot of product improvements that came directly from user feedback. Interviews is one of the biggest steps in that journey so far, but it is far from the last.

We are building Useberry into a more complete research platform, one that helps teams test, listen, learn, and make better decisions from one connected place.

Remote unmoderated research is still a major part of our product DNA. Now, moderated research joins the family with Interviews.

Welcome to a new chapter for Useberry.
